About Cape Town

Cape Town, known as the Mother City, is one of the world’s most breathtaking destinations — a vibrant blend of natural wonders, rich culture, unforgettable adventures and a large offering of restaurants offering mouth-watering cuisine

No visit is complete without a trip up Table Mountain, where sweeping views over the city, coastline, and winelands are breathtaking on a clear day and magical when the clouds are low providing a tablecloth covering over the mountain peak. For history and heritage, journey to Robben Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that tells the emotional and powerful story of South Africa’s struggle for freedom.

Wander through the colourful streets of Bo-Kaap, known for its rainbow-painted houses and Cape Malay flavours, or browse the bustling V&A Waterfront for shopping, dining, and live entertainment.

Nature lovers will find plenty to discover — from the famous Cape of Good Hope to Boulders Beach, where you can walk among a huddle of adorable African penguins as they walk around playfully on the beach. A drive along Chapman’s Peak reveals one of the most scenic coastal routes in the world. For wine enthusiasts, the nearby Cape Winelands in Stellenbosch, Paarl, and Franschhoek offer world-class vineyards and tastings in stunning countryside settings.

If you’re and adventure seeker, why not take a boat ride in the ocean for a spot of whale watching or  and if that’s not enough adventure you can come up close and personal with some under-water shark cage diving.

For land tours, hikers and cyclists can explore the many trails around the mountains and coast. Families will enjoy Cape Town’s beaches, aquariums, and wildlife parks, while couples will find romance in its golden sunsets and charming seaside towns.
