A Carnival like no other

One island, endless vibes, where colour comes alive

Saint Lucia is famous for its soaring Pitons, golden beaches and warm Caribbean hospitality. During Carnival the island comes alive in an entirely different way.

This is an exhilarating celebration of music, movement, creativity and culture, where the streets pulse with soca, calypso, steelpan and the unmistakable rhythms of Dennery Segment. From energetic fetes and live performances to pageantry and community celebrations, every event offers a way into the real spirit of the island.

The festivities culminate in the spectacular Parade of the Bands, when the roads become a moving canvas of dazzling costumes, vivid colour and infectious energy. Masqueraders dance behind the elaborately designed bands while the route fills with spectators.

Saint Lucia Carnival is more than an event. It is an invitation to connect, celebrate and experience the island at its most vibrant.

Good to know

Know before you go

When exactly is Saint Lucia Carnival 2027?

The season runs from 1 to 21 July 2027, with J'ouvert and the two days of Parade of the Bands closing the festival in the third week. We recommend a minimum seven to ten night package.

Do I need to join a band to enjoy Carnival?

You do not have to be in a band to enjoy Saint Lucia Carnival. Many guests watch the parade, attend the fetes and enjoy Panorama. Being a spectator is just as enjoyable, but being part of a band will take you to another level.

How much is the deposit?

Our packages include return flights, transfers and hotel stays. A £75 per person deposit is payable to confirm your booking. Full payment is usually due approximately 12 to 14 weeks before departure.

Which airport do I fly into?

Hewanorra International in Vieux Fort, with direct services from London Gatwick. George F. L. Charles Airport, located in Castries, serves smaller aircraft connecting Saint Lucia with nearby Caribbean islands. Transfers to Rodney Bay, Castries and Soufrière are included in every package.

Can you arrange group and family travel?

Sackville Travel specialise in group travel. A group consists of 10 or more adults travelling out and returning on the same dates. The deposit and terms and conditions differ for a group. Contact one of our specialists for more information.
