About Fort Young Hotel
Nestled on the waterfront, overlooking the Caribbean Sea, the Fort Young Hotel is surrounded by Dominica’s mountainous lands to the east while being beckoned by the open vistas of the Caribbean Sea to the West.
Built around the walls of the old 18th century fort, many of the original features have been retained in the public areas of the property. However, modern facilities have now been added, making it a little oasis of comfort after a day of exploration. The main airport – Douglas Charles – is on the northeast coast of the island and is a scenic 65 minutes’ drive across the island to Roseau.

All current 39 rooms and suites are air-conditioned, with en-suite bathroom, and cable TV. Room categories include currently are Oceanfront Rooms, Deluxe Oceanfront Rooms, Oceanfront Junior Suites and Oceanfront Suites. All rooms and suites each have a private balcony with a superb view of the ocean. Complimentary WIFI access is available in all room and suite categories.
